Our detailed tour descriptions have all the features included in each experience, which may or may not include guide services, meals, transportation, and entrance fees.

Turismo de Aventura Costa Maya S.A de C.V. is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, costs or delays resulting from your use of tour services.

Turismo de Aventura Costa Maya S.A de C.V. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour due to adverse weather conditions or any other reason such as the arrival and cruise ship stops (applies either to arriving by land customers or by cruise ships).

All personal items, including coats, cameras, handbags, and similar personal items must remain at all times under your personal control. Turismo de Aventura Costa Maya S.A de C.V. is not responsible for loss, theft or damage of personal items during the tour.

Most tours will operate in a variety of weather conditions, however, if the weather compromises the safety of participants, it will be cancelled and a refund will be made. Members of any tour who choose to leave the designated tour transport must provide their own transportation at their own expense back to the port.

All our tours include transportation to/from the port, however, a couple of them include a pre-paid taxi service so you can return to the port whenever you want. TURISMO DE AVENTURA COSTA MAYA, S.A. DE C.V. is not responsible for any delay on your way back to your cruise ship departure since you have the control of your return. TURISMO DE AVENTURA COSTA MAYA, S.A. DE C.V. does not have the guarantee “All on board” so we recommend to arrive at least half an hour before the indicated departure time of your cruise ship.

Your cruise company is not responsible for any problems with the operation of the tour. If this is your case, please contact info@costamaya.coml.

All tours are operated and guided in English, with the exception of the Port Pass, which has a single schedule in Spanish at 12:00 noon.

As a visitor, you have the opportunity to enjoy the amenities of the port after the tour such as shops, bars, restaurants, among others, however, the use of the lounge chairs is subject to availability. On your arrival to the port you will be informed about the closing time of the facilities, since you cannot stay in the facilities after the all aboard of the cruisers.

*The use of parking is restricted for vehicles providing services within the port.

Refunds and cancellation policy

Turismo de Aventura Costa Maya S.A de C.V. will issue a full refund for all cancelled tours, including those cancelled due to a delay in the arrival of the boat or the inability of a boat to dock at a particular port and weather cancellations that put the safety of clients at risk.

The following cancellation policy applies to all our tours, attractions, services and transportation.

  • Cancellations with 48 hours prior to service = 100% refund.
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours before the service = 50% refund.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours before the service = Non-refundable.
  • No Show (non-attendance) = Non-refundable/ If the tour allows it, you can go through the next schedule.
  • Prices subject to change without notice (restrictions apply).

For direct purchase on our website we cannot issue a cancellation / refund for the following reasons:

  • Due to inclement weather.
  • Errors made by the buyer when making the purchase.

To receive a refund for a canceled tour, customers most require it sending an email to info@costamaya.com with a maximum 48 hours after the tour cancelation.

All refunds will be made through a bank deposit and within one month of the refund request.

Payment and Registration Policy

If by chance your credit card is declined, please contact us at info@costamaya.com so you can book your tour without any problem.

*In case you arrive from a cruise ship, you must show proof of reservation, in addition to a valid official photo ID and proof of payment (Paypal).

When you arrive on your own, you are allowed to access to Port until 1 hour before the tour starts. Customers from a cruise ship will receive instructions at the dispatch.

When purchasing online, all international and domestic customers will be required to present a valid official photo ID to be allowed to enter the port.

When buying online at the National rate you must present a valid official ID INE, IFE, passport, FM2, FM3, issued in Mexico along with your proof of payment, otherwise a rate cap will be implemented at the ticket office.

* Minors (under 18 years old) must present their school ID, IMSS card, along with a printed CURP, in case of domestic rate.

Consent

By making a reservation to purchase a product or service from TURISMO DE AVENTURA COSTA MAYA SA DE CV you, the customer, acknowledge that you have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions contained herein. If any term or condition or any part thereof is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect and, if possible, the part(s) declared unenforceable shall be construed in a manner consistent with the remaining portions.
