Short description

The Catamaran Sail and Snorkel Excursion is a fantastic way to discover the beauty of Costa Maya. Your guides will meet you at the port, where they will take you to your catamaran. There, you will receive all the information you need and brand new snorkel equipment for your hygiene.

Don’t worry if this is your first time doing snorkel, our guides are ready to help! So take a splash and start to explore. Open your eyes for exotic species around, you will be amazed by them!

After the tour, you have the option to go back to the port or stay at the pier and visit Mahahual. If you choose the second option, you will be given a bracelet with a pre-paid taxi service to return at your leisure.

What is not included in this tour?

  • Pregnant women, guests with back/ neck injuries, history of seizures, recent surgeries, vertigo, diabetes, heart or respiratory conditions such as asthma or on any form of blood pressure patients are not allowed to participate for safety reasons.

Catamaran Sail and Snorkel
We did this excursion while on a Royal Caribbean cruise. I would highly recommend this experience! The water was a little rough & I would not have been able to do the snorkeling part if they had not offered a "guided" tour via a crewmember pulling a life ring that I was able to hold onto. They also have an extra-wide ladder with a platform that is actually in the water - making it very easy to get in & out of the boat. The crew was very personable. It was a great time ????

Catamaran Sail and Snorkel Excursion
The people who operate the tour are excellent at their jobs, the degree of customer service is extremely satisfactory and attentive. I would like to thank Enrique for his attention and support when doing the Snorkel as such since it was my first experience and he had the patience to explain to me what was necessary to have the confidence to do the activity. In general, the crew of the catamaran was very attentive to all of us on board and we have to thank them for that. I congratulate them and I really recommend anyone who is going to visit Costa Maya soon to do this tour
